Work in progress. This is a semi-collaboration with the boyfie. He was playing with my drawing when I wasn’t watching.

My sister’s room. It’s actually messy but for some reason it actually looks organized in this angle.

This was an unpremeditated cintiq warm-up drawing-turned-comic. It happens to also depict my physical warm-up.

Concrete Wall Decoration by Sullivan Conard Architects

This house by Sullivan Conard Architects displays some great decorating ideas for interior concrete walls. Using concrete indoors can be beautiful, but it is known for becoming too cold due to the concrete, but this house shows that using this tough material doesn’t have to take away from the coziness of a home. The wall containing the fireplace adding to the sense of warmth and comfort. The creamy neutral colors used in the interior scheme (brown, beige, caramel, with a pinky red influence) actually bring out the beige influence in the grey of the concrete warming it and the whole place up.

Being an artist simultaneously makes me feel like the luckiest and unluckiest person alive and it’s very confusing and I don’t handle stress well.

I had to go back and find this again and reblog it because it just became relevant again as it does from time to time.

qinleng:

Hi everyone, I am finally back posting! I was away for the holidays and didn’t have access to a scanner for the last two weeks.
But there will be plenty of new doodles to post in the next few days, of sketches done during my visit to Montreal.
This one is of a girl I saw on St-Laurent, in Montreal. I cannot believe how people can stay fashionable and show off their legs at -15C!
